For a very long time now I have been wanting to start a blog! But I was not 100% sure I wanted to commit to one. Over the last few months I kept getting this distinct message and this feeling inside that I had to do it.
So I made up my mind that I was going to start it. I created it and Wednesday night I wrote my first post on the train ride home. Then when I got home I created my blog and publish my first post!
I still have stuff to figure out in terms of graphics but that will come in time. So my blog might look a bit different in the next few weeks as I figure things out.
But here is a little insight to the inspiration behind my blog.
Everyday I try my best to live a life of gratitude and purpose. From the smallest thing in my life to the biggest thing in my life. I am grateful for it all.
My purpose in life is to help others in any way that I can. Those closest to me know that I will go to the moon and back for them and their families.
I noticed while talking to people and sharing simple things about my unique journey in life (school, marriage, family, fitness) and my unique family that people were so interested and amazed. One of the first things and most popular comment people tell me when they hear about my long distance marriage is, "I can't do that! or how do you do that?"
But I can assure you that when something is meant to be it will be! When two people are working towards that same end goal and they have a support system like no other only SUCCESS will flourish.
I have grown and learnt so much over the years Adam and I have been together. About 6+ years ago if you asked me where I see myself in 10 years I would never imagined the journey I am on. During my journey in life I had to overcome and I continue to overcome many changes, obstacles and circumstances. But none of that matters because I LOVE my journey. It is mine, its is unique, it is filled with many challenges, many successes, great people, wonderful memories and tonnes of learning.
Every day I am seeking to find the greater meaning and understanding for my purpose here on this earth as a wife, a mom, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a coworker, a mentor.
Through my blog I want to take you on my journey and hopefully through my journey I can help enlighten yours.
This is me Wearing my Heart on My Sleeve <3
